goHappy-simeon

A small birthday card for Simeon: Happy Birthday, confetti, music, beer, and smokes.

Run

With Go installed:

go run .

The card opens in your browser at:

http://127.0.0.1:8080

If the browser does not open automatically, open the address manually.

Music

Click the Start music button on the card. The browser will play the birthday tune.

Alternative Texts

The displayed greeting is loaded from static/messages.json. Change the default entry to pick the main greeting, or keep extra options in alternatives.

Ready-Made Binaries

After building, the ready-made binaries are in the dist folder:

On macOS and Linux, you may need to make the file executable:

chmod +x dist/goHappy-simeon-linux-amd64

chmod +x dist/goHappy-simeon-darwin-arm64
